How to use your android Smartphone or Cell Phone as Modem for laptop, computer

For this you will need:

Android Phone

Data cable of your Phone

Laptop or Computer

How to Use Modem:

Click Settings

Select Wi-Fi and Network Settings

Select Mobile Networks

Activate “use Packet Data”

Optional “use only 2G network”

GO back to Settings from beginning

Select Wifi and Networks setting Again

Select tethering and Portable Hotspot

Plug-in your USB cable to your Smartphone or Cell phone

And connect with computer or laptop

Check “USB tethering” to use Wi-Fi from Cell phone to Laptop or Computer

When modem is activated you will see “tethering or portable hotspot active” in status bar

And you can also see modem connected in taskbar in your laptop or computer

Now open browser and enjoy surfing
